Report:
Summer Fly Fishing Fred and Denise did a great job of hooking up and landing these big hot fish all day long.  Some days the stars line up, and the fish gods
smile.  This was one such day.  From the time we stepped into the river until the last trout of the day, the fish were very active.  Nymph
fishing was the most productive, but there were some big Western Green Drakes around.  With a bit of cloud cover, the fish should be
looking up.  The majority of the trout were caught sight fishing.  This is a very exciting way to fish and allows anglers to target large trout.

Generally the South Platte basin has had very good fishing this summer from Rocky Mountain National Park, all the way to the Dream Stream in South Park. The trout seem to be fat, healthy, and happy.  The reservoir levels are very good this year, and we should have exceptional trout fishing through the fall.

We offer a variety of trips this time of year on public and private waters.  We will work hard to make sure we put you on the best fishing possible!
