My name is Scott Dickson, and fishing is my passion. I grew up fishing in the PNW, chasing salmon, steelhead, and whatever else would bite a hook. I moved to Colorado in ‘91 and had my first introduction to fly fishing. I was a newbie & immediately was drawn to the sport. That’s when my learning journey began. I started running my first guide trips in 1999. At that time, I thought it was a fun temporary job. Fast forward I never imagined it would become my career. Twenty-four years later I still love fishing, and am so fortunate to feel like I’m not working a day in my life.

I enjoy being on the water. I love being an instructor/coach and sharing my skills with others. I have fun guiding and that’s what keeps me upbeat and excited about everyday I get to spend on the water. I’m often asked, “What’s your favorite fish?”. My reply is, “Whatever is pulling at the end of my line.” I guess you can say I’m a fishing addict. Working in the fishing industry I’ve been lucky enough to work with some fantastic companies. I’m currently a Simms Ambassador and member of the R.L. Winston pro team.  When not on the water, I am usually enjoying time with my wife and our two boys.
