Fly-Tying Classes in Denver, Colorado
Learn fly tying from the comfort of your own home!
Feel free to contact us at any time of the year if you would like an introduction to fly-tying. Beginner fly tying classes usually run about three to four hours in length. We teach fly proportions, fly-tying techniques, thread control, and the essential whip finish. From there, we proceed to tie several basic flies: the San Juan worm, a basic dry fly, woolly bugger, and basic nymphs. These fly-tying classes are a
great introduction to the art of fly-tying. It is hard to describe the sense of pride people get catching their first fish on a fly they hand tied themselves.
Our fly tying instructors come to you. If you live in the Denver area we will come to your home or area of your choice. All equipment and material will be provided, but you are always welcome to use your own equipment. For lessons outside the Denver Metro area an additional travel charge may apply.
The price is $175 for one person and $60 for each additional person 4 person max.
