| Forget the forecast and let’s get out on the water! Our public water fisheries like the Blue in Silverthorne and the South Platte near Deckers offer some great fishing throughout the winter. During this time of year, we typically see lower flows which can offer great sight fishing and a chance to hunt a trophy. Our private water fisheries along the North Fork of the South Platte will also be open all winter long and offer discounted rod fees! For winter fishing, there is no need to be on the water at the crack of dawn. The most productive fishing will be during the warmest part of the day allowing the metabolism of the fish to get going. Because of this, we are offering a 6 hour guided trip special for the months of December, January, and February. For $300, you can get a 6 hour guide trip that includes all the needed gear and flies. The $300 covers one or two anglers! Whether you want to improve your sight fishing techniques, hunt a trophy, or just escape the cabin fever, we are here to help!
