Our annual winter fly fishing classes with our friends at FlyCast were a great success! We did 2 classes this year on one of the most technical fisheries in the state, the Blue River in the town of Silverthorne. We like holding classes on such a difficult river because we find this is a great spot to learn, if you can catch fish here, you really can catch them anywhere! We covered topics such as rigging up for winter fly fishing, winter fly selection, fighting large fish and how to land them. Over our 2 classes, all 10 participants landed fish with many getting the largest trout of their lives! Check out some of the highlights below!
