Jim Keller’s Phenomenal Day

One of the greatest parts of guiding is being able to share our passion on the water with some pretty incredible guests.  Jim Keller is one of the original clients of Colorado Trout Hunters but quickly turned into more than that, he is a dear friend and CTH family.  We shared a day on the water this week fishing one of our private water sections on the North Fork of the South Platte.

Jim is a great angler and I couldn’t wait to fish the property with him.  Jim always has a way of finding not only good numbers of fish, but quality ones.  This day was no different.  Check out the photos below, these are just some highlights and a small percentage of the total fish he landed.  And an important note to include, everyone of these fish was caught on a bamboo rod that Jim made himself!  I have been lucky to have some memorable days with Jim this year but this one might of been the best!  Cheers to you my friend and many more good days in the future (just don’t know how we will be ever able to top this one!)
