Dry Fly Time at the Rolling J!
The Rolling J Ranch in Leadville Colorado is a property like no other. It boast the Arkansas River near its headwaters which is actually the highest elevation Gold Medal Trout stream in the entire world, plus the Lake Fork of the Arkansas and tributary Halfmoon Creek. Not only do the rivers and creeks boast an incredible number of Rainbow Trout, Browns, Cutthroat and Book Trout, they also have unmatched bug life leading to some of the best dry fly fishing in the state.

Just this week have experienced incredible dry fly hatches of Caddisflies, PMD’s, Yellow Sallies, Tricos, and of course the famous Green Drake.
