We hope you are all doing well and staying safe during these uncertain times. We are back guiding fly fishing trips throughout Colorado and have made some adjustments to our program to ensure a safe experience for all of our guests. We are cleaning our gear daily with disinfectant. We are also encouraging our clients to bring their own lunches on full day guided fishing trips and offering a price discount to those who do so. We have changed our cancelation policy so that if you are not feeling well, you can cancel your trip at any time. We promise you that if we are not felling 100%, we will not risk guiding you and either get you a different guide or reschedule the trip. After you land that trophy trout, we may just have to give you a fist bump instead of a hug. The point is we hold your health and safety in the highest regard. With the right protocols, we can still have a great guided fly fishing trip! The river is an excellent spot to socially distance amongst the trout.
We are currently running our guided fly fishing trips on both public and private water. For private water, we have been guiding Abell River Ranch, Santa Maria Ranch, and Tarryall Creek. These private water fly fishing leases allow us to have a stretch of river reserved just for us! They are all fishing fantastic and have incredible views to go along with the great fishing. These are all great options for private water guided fly fishing near Denver and Colorado Springs. For pubic water, we have been guiding the South Platte River near the town of Deckers and the South Platte River below Spinney, aka the Dream Stream. Check out some of the photos from our recent guided fly fishing trips below!
Reach out to us if we can help you achieve any of your fly fishing goals! You can email danny@coloradotrouthunters.com or call (303) 325-5515. We would love to get you out on a guided fly fishing trip this May! If you want to see current fishing conditions, check out our friends over at FlyCast!
