Colorado Trout Fishing At Upper Allen Creek Ranch

Colorado Trout Fishing at Upper Allen Creek Ranch:

This 1.5 mile stretch of Tarryall Creek is located at 8,600 feet elevation; flows range from 15 to 45 cubic feet per second during the summer which can make some incredible dry fly action.

Upper Allen Creek Ranch is a scenic property with complex habitat and healthy populations of wild brown trout ranging from 8-20+ inches. This section of Tarryall Creek has a steeper gradient than Lazy River Ranch (upstream) or the Lower Allen Creek lease (downstream), with great pocket water and beautiful riffles and runs. This property should be worked very thoroughly, as feeding brown and rainbow trout often hold in small pockets and along overhanging banks  as well as the more obvious holding pools.  Anglers on this
section have caught upwards of 100 trout in a single day and reports of BIG rainbows 20-24 inches are not uncommon!  Awesome Colorado trout fishing!!

Maximum of 2 anglers per day. No refunds once payments are made. Trout fishing at Lower Allen Creek Ranch can be added to your reservation for an additional angling opportunity.

Catch and release Colorado trout fishing trips and lessons.
