Fly fishing was great all day. Private fly fishing near Denver at Longmeadow Ranch offers big trout and great fun.
The brown trout were thinking of spawning, while the rainbow trout and the cutbows were eating the eggs with amazing ferocity! Nymph fishing produced all the action, with fish from 4 inches up to 22 inches in length. One brook trout was caught as a fun bonus!
Fishing action was very consistent through the day, with good success everywhere we fished.
