Report:
These pictures speak for themselves.  This was the kind of day fly fishermen dream about, with beautiful scenery, good weather, lots of
big trout eating dry flies, and great company. The big brook trout are on the move in this lake. They are starting to school up and get
ready to spawn in the next couple weeks.  The dry fly fishing was very good with fish eating very aggressively before winter.

On this day we landed brook trout, cutthroat trout, rainbow trout, and cut-bow trout. There are still hoppers around and it is always lots of fun to fish big dry flies. Danny did a great job with these aggressive fish and we quickly lost count of how many were caught.

The fall fishing is in full swing, and most of the streams and rivers are fishing very well, but a few are getting a bit low.  There are lots of BWO’s around and the fish seem to be very aggressive with the changing season.  The brown trout have their fall colors and are getting very active.  We have caught some beautiful trout on our guide trips in the last few days.

If you are looking to get out one more time before winter, this is a great time of year to fly fish in Colorado.
