Report:
Day 1 started on Tarryall Creek on one of the most windy days of
the spring.  We were lucky enough to be fishing an in a small
canyon with lots of pine trees that broke the wind and made fly
fishing possible.

The river is coming up steadily, but the fish seemed to be in the
normal spots and more than willing to eat a well-presented fly.
Nymph fishing was most productive, but fish also fell to dry-dropper
set ups as well as streamers.

The rainbows and browns seem to be in great shape with several
nice fish up to about 18-19 inches coming to hand.

Day 2 we changed venues and fished the South Platte in search of
a few larger trout.  It didn't take long to find them!  Through the day,
several beauties came to hand including an albino and one or 2 real
whoppers.  Again, nymph fishing was most productive, but we did
catch fish on dry flies as well as one on a streamer.

The water levels in the creeks are changing quickly, but looking at
the rivers this week we still have some great fishing to do before the
runoff makes things more complicated.

There are no worries during the high water season.  We have lots of
tailwaters that we can fish through runoff, as well as great reservoir
fishing and high lake fishing.

Testimonial:
Thanks,

We enjoyed fishing with you and took away great memories.
Thanks again!
